False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are provided at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a 3-yr period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These classes commence at NCV level 2 and also the bare minimum prerequisite would then be Grade nine certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

The moment the student finishes NCVLevel two, they might then have attained a grade ten certificate. NCV Level 3 would be grade eleven and NCV Level four is grade twelve.

NCV Level four is at the exit level, getting equivalent to a Nationwide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade 9 is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV level 2 that is equivalent to an NQF level 2.
